Large top-down-oriented restructuring programs are often unsuccessful due to the bottlenecks and inertia in both technical and cultural structures. Our recipe for success is found in improving understanding and collaboration while iteratively changing direction, organisation and technology in small, rapid, controlled steps.

We provide our services in either two ways, fractional or project-based.

1. Improving knowledge & understanding

Our assessments not only deliver an expert view on your current state – allowing you to get better visibility on your bottlenecks – they also start new ways of collaboration within tech and non-tech parts of your organisation.

Using a combination of mapping exercises (Event Storming, Event Modelling), we collaborate with your business to dissect your business and systems’ inner workings, discover misalignments, and find knowledge and communication gaps.

2. Defining your renovation plan

Using the insights and conclusions from our assessments, we collaborate on building a renovation program for the necessary parts of your tech organisation, translating your ambitions into an organisational and technical roadmap for improvement. Our renovation plans define long-term goals but explicitly deliver on the first steps to head in this direction.

In the definition of initial steps, we focus on a parallel delivery of value for both product and your new organisational and technological blueprint. Prioritising current biggest blockers to be resolved using novel patterns for both technical architectures as collaboration.

3. Kick-starting evolutionary improvement

To deliver rapidly on your initial goals while developing your new blueprint, we form and coach an internal experimentation team tasked with building a new foundation in a set of evolutionary delivery cycles. In each of these one-week iterations, the group defines and improves technology and ways of working while tackling one of the bottlenecks as its goal.
